To see if the ERRORLEVEL is equal to 4:  if %ERRORLEVEL% == 4

To see if the ERRORLEVEL is greater than 4:  if %ERRORLEVEL% gtr 4

To see if the ERRORLEVEL is less than 4:  if %ERRORLEVEL% lss 4
