Principal's Message
![]() |
My name is Mike Frampus and I am thrilled and honored to be the principal at Lincoln Elementary! This truly is a special place and I am sincerely looking forward to the school year. It is my goal to maintain the family atmosphere that has defined Lincoln elementary for decades. I also feel it is important to improve student learning and continue to create a culture that reflects character and respect throughout the Lincoln family. Please let me tell you a little about myself. I have worked in the Petoskey Schools for over twenty years. My responsibilities have varied during this time as I have previously worked as a coach, librarian, teacher, and an assistant principal. Prior to that I taught history and coached track in Farmington, Michigan. My wife, Tami, and I have been married for 25 years and we have two sons, Andy and Aaron. Andy is a junior at Grand Valley State, and Aaron is a senior at PHS. Both of them attended Lincoln and they still reflect fondly back at their elementary years as a special time in their lives. I feel fortunate to be an active part of the fun and learning opportunities at Lincoln. I believe that a quality education is essential to improving the lives of all people and I have committed my life to this cause. |
